Ligman Lighting USA is proud to have partnered on the PENN 2 project, located directly above Penn Station in New York City, a landmark project that reimagines a 1968 office building into a world-class tower at the gateway to Seventh Avenue.

Working closely with CBB Lighting Design, this project highlights how Ligman’s customization capabilities give designers and owners the creative freedom to shape lighting that is both functional and refined.

To reduce the need for additional poles for festoon lighting, eyelets and power management were integrated into Odessa Cluster Poles, creating a standalone system that controls not only light fixtures but the festoon lighting as well. Diffuser lenses were provided to soften the edges of high-powered floodlight beams for elimination of sharp cut-off and creation of uniformity.

The lighting solution combines Odessa Cluster Poles, Light Linear PT Bollards, Odessa Small Floodlights, Quantum 2 floodlights, and Jet 39 ceiling-mounted down lights to create a cohesive, layered environment.

Thank you to Vornado Realty Trust for the opportunity, CBB Lighting Design for their vision and leadership, SDA Lighting for their partnership, and special thanks to Michael Hennes and Nira Wattanachote of CBB Lighting Design.
